I've eaten breakfast a few times at the Vesuvious on 139 Colt Street. It offers a wholesome English breakfast (I challenge you to finish it) and a good range of Continental food. Bijou Italian cafe near the river. Friendly service and tasty food.
Excellent coffee and some of  the best home-made chocolate fudge cake I've had. All served by gorgeous waitresses.
    Viva l'Italia!

I was a regular on weekends here while living just around the corner for several months. The staff (all Italians) were very friendly. The panini are delicious and they serve a great full English breakfast too. I hope there are enough locals to support this business, as the neighborhood is usually very quiet and empty.
